    Sounds like every other skinny kid including myself a year ago. I'm ecto. If you haven't actually been tested you don't know, and can't use it as an excuse. You're not eating enough.

    Just out of interest, does being an ecto mean that you will definately be a hard gainer? I'm ecto and a skinny bugger (used to not eat alot) and just started lifting weights and worried that it'll take me years to get anywhere because of my genetics. Cheers.

    No, not at all. With the same training and appropriate diet everyone can make huge gains regardless of initial body structure.
