I missed my AS Biology exam in June due to a loss in the family that very day, and with the results coming this month I was wondering if anyone knows what it'll look like on paper. Will I get two results, from my other two subjects, and then nothing for Biology? I'm applying to university in September and won't have a grade for Biology, and how could my teachers predict a grade if they only have one grade from one paper for that subject? Not a full AS grade.

Sorry for your loss
I think it will come up with your UMS marks for the modules you have already done in biology before (assuming that you have done unit 1 and unit 3 (coursework))
Are you allowed to do AS + A2 biology next year? What other subjects are you doing?

you'll have no mark for the module you missed but you should be able to retake the module in january and will probably need to inform the unis you apply to about your circumstance.
