    Hey guys.

Heres the deal - this year i thought i would get approx AABCC for my exams and was going to apply to criminology this year. I opted for 4 other highers - maths, business management, philosophy and psychology.

However I ended up with AAAAA this year ! so that means i can now apply to do law which is what i have wanted to do since i was knee high to a grasshopper.

I do so many other things so I think im pretty much sorted for my ucas (any comment on these would be helpful) such as voulenteering, beat bullying schemes, prefect, S1 registration leader, Junior school buddy, paired reading schemes, Prom/Yearbook commitee, part time job as waitress, golf, many many many musical groups (orchestra, band, regional orchestras, choirs) and also becoming a cyber mentor for childline.

I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on what my best option academia wise would be for next term? This year i did Highers in English, Modern Studies, Music, Human Biology and Administration.

    Thanks in advance x

Do what you want. Don't base your subjects for this grade on what would look best, it's a whole year and you'll do better if you enjoy stuff.

That said, if you like Modern studies then I highly recommend the AH, especially if your school does the crime units.

Beyond that though, seriously just do what you want.

As a side note, I wouldn't put *all* of those extra things on your personal statement. It's all good, but you want to concentrate on the quality of the more relevant ones, than use up all your characters on things that aren't too relevant.

Where are you planning to apply? Somebody I know who applied emailed a few of the Unis asking what subjects they recommended. He eventually took Adv. Chemistry, Higher RMPS and Higher Modern studies. Although they said Advanced Higher English looks quite good for Law.

Do whatever you want to do and are capable of doing.

Considering your performance, this shouldn't be a problem.

Continue to aim high and achieve! If you went to Kirkcaldy High School, it might be a different story. They enjoy ruining people's lives.
