    Fail thread is fail.

    Sorry.

I presume you want to know if people agree with immigration, or not? Change the title to 'Immigration: A problem that URGENTLY needs to be addressed?' so it coincides with the poll and people aren't confused.

Yes. The country is already over populated as it is and there are massive strains on welfare and NHS. Stricter immigration laws must be a major part of the next government's plans.

why do people have such a big problem with it? put urself if their shoes. If your family including ur mum and dad were in a country with war where you couldnt have a peacful nights sleep and fear of loosing ur family wouldnt u want to leave and move to another country?

and im perfectly cool with that, aslong as they play their part once they get here. Sadly FAR to many dont, and end up spunging off the system claiming benefits NHS schools houses etc and put nothing into the ecomomy by not working or paying taxes, and in some cases taking away from the country with crime + drugs blah blah blah.

what i dont understand is all these asylum seekers coming to the UK for safety.... surely the only asylum seekers coming to the UK are those from france or norway?
clearly they're after more than just safety as they choose to travel across the whole of continental europe and across the channel when any other country would be perfectly safe.

    Exactly !
There are ques miles long in Calais to get into the UK, not because they want safety from genocide etc, as they are ALREADY in a safe country, but because they know the current British system will just spoon feed them to hell and back.

They are NOT asylum seekers, they are economic illegal migrants. And the vast majority of these illegals in calais are young men aged 16 - 30, asylum seekers MY ARSE
