I know someone who did (I've seen the pictures). I was planning to as well, but I didn't really have anything to set fire to it in, and I didn't fancy the idea of accidentally setting fire to my trousers as well

I just settled for smashing it repeatedly against a wall to dissipate all the anger that remained towards English, then threw it away in it's battered state

FFS, don't burn books. If you don't want them, then give them away to someone who does or a local charity.

    I kept mine.

It's perhaps rather sad of me to have done so. But I couldn't find it in me to give it away, neither could I burn it.

It's all colourful with annotations, and little pictures too (the ones you can't help but draw when you get bored..)

Nah, there was my illegible writing covering all of the pages, and everybody who does it gets a free anthology, so there wouldn't be much point

My friend ripped up his Psychology GCSE book, I concluded that it was important for him to do so to release his aggression.

We were made to give the Anthology book back... Either that or it's in my wardrobe somewhere, still.
