    Two questions:

Where do people go out post 1st year? I felt that everyone I met out last year was a fresher too.

Do I need to bring that barcode printout sheet with me again this year? Do we get new student cards?

Everyone predrinks in Jesmond/Heaten/Sandyford and then goes to all the places we went to in first year.

    Sinners ftw.

Man I'm gonna hate paying like £2.70 for a double knowing I could be in Basement... the price you pay for not sticking to the floor I guess...

No point in me answering the question. I live on Bigg Market.

Your student card is valid until the date of expiry outlined on the card. I will need to get a new one for myself during Freshers but I have moved from a BEng to an MEng and my course now finishes in 2010 :p:

People will be drinking in Osborne rd more I think (well if you live in Jesmond that is). House parties! Taxis into town aren't expensive anyway, when shared between 4 people.

You need to register on s3p.ncl.ac.uk

Then you just need to confirm your attendance by scanning your student card at a scanning station (you don't get a new one). More details here: http://www.ncl.ac.uk/students/progre...nfirmation.htm
