Rowing at UCL

Rowing is something i would like to learn when i come down there, what opportunities are there through the university?

Any info would be appreciated.

Rowing is absolutely fantastic! I'm a qualified coxswain and competent crew :biggrin:

Perhaps UCL has a boat club? I know that KCL does, and that they are very keen on rowing!

i'll stick to 11-a-side football, rugby, fencing, table tennis, squash, gym, 5/6-a-side football, handball, softball, running, tennis & chess, tho :biggrin:

I think you need 2 hands to row anyway :frown:

ok on a serious note. ucl has a good boat club. and rowing is fab, but its a big commitment, you have to be able to put in the training. i could wax lyrical about the benefits but you lot are ucl so you don't deserve my pearls of wisdom :p:

(just joking, pm me if you really want to know). they should be at your freshers fair, or you could check out the uclbc forum, always an interesting read :rolleyes:
