I've just received my AS result and I got a few questions for application to Oxbridge~~
1.I can't decide which course to choose(between Chemical engineering and Economics), so which one's interview question would be easier?
    2. Can anyone show me sone past OXBRIDGE interview questions?

    THX~~

how have you got AS result? umm, you shouldn't base your option based on what you are most likely to got into, you should choose what you have a passion for, you will do better in interview for what you are most interested in, that is half of what the interview is.

Basing what you're going to do for the next several years/ the rest of your life on which it's easier to get into at a University that is, for both, very hard to get into is hardly a brilliant idea

If your choice of course is based on which will give you an easier interview, you shouldn't be doing either course.

I know, but from the post it sounded like he was taking standard english qualifications
But then again I am quite ignorant about overseas qualifications, there mabye others that call themselves ASs

CIE (International) A level results were released yesterday, actually. So you're both right, in a sense.

An internship is merely a form of work experience. I suggest you read the wiki for tips on PS writing, but an important one is to ensure it is written is very good English.

its not particularly easy to get work experience for chemical engineering really. and the admission tutors know this (i think)

your best bet would be something related to chemical engineering

like i worked in a company that used some various complex chemicals in designing fire safety systems for oil companies and other businesses

    its realted to chemeng:
    1) because chemeng produces these chemicals (FM200)
    2) and chemeng has its roots in oil industries

EDIT: the FM200 is one of the fire retardent chemicals the company i worked in used

Why not apply for EEM (Engineering, Economics and Management) at Oxford? You can take Chemical Engineering specialisms in later years, and you get the E&M side to satisfy your business need. Simple!
