    You download the zip, put it in the root of your SD card, reboot into recovery mode and flash update as zip... I'm guessing root is required

    http://android.modaco.com/content/ht...-for-gsm-hero/ Wait I don't think this is the newest radio, I'll keep looking

    April?! It takes 10 minutes, if that!

    AFAIK no one here has the Legend so the ROMs we use aren't for your phone.

    If you mean version of Android then I use 2.3.3.

    Once rooted you can uninstall those apps easy.

    CyanogenMod is a ROM that's on an insane amount of devices.
    CM6=2.2.x
    CM7=2.3.x

    I use a ROM based on CM7, it's pretty nice.

    I've just installed CG 1.7.0, all my apps (and data!) restored without a problem, unlike last time :shifty:

    I thought you should know.

    Aw man, I restarted and now it's been on the Cronos logo for a while... :erm:

    Got my first android just about 2 weeks ago.

    Gave in and finally rooted yesterday, overclocked from 800 to 1100 MHz

    Now I need to stop the temptation of messing with ROMs. I waste enough time as is!

    Mine's been fine. :erm:

    The only issue I have with LP at the moment is that the built in Calendar/Agenda Widget sometimes doesn't move through everything in the agenda after the time has passed. But that's a pretty trivial problem, tbh.

    Any suggestions of good language dictionaries/translators that don't need the internet?

    Uni Jailbreak and if we reach a country other than spain, france, germany my team is kinda stuck on the whole language front, but obvs the roaming charges for abroad will be immense so need internet free apps to translate for us!

    Surely such an app would be massive...

    Thought of maybe using a dictionary (the paper kind)?

    Yeah a massive app would be fine

    Just some languages would be fine

    And I could use a dictionary but carrying my phone is easier!

    No I mean a massive app beyond that which someone would bother programming.

    It's not just providing the different language's words but stringing them into and semi-reasonable sentence. Your best bet would be to get a French dictionary from the Market.
