Pah. We don't need that either. Lets face it, for smart phones, anything less than 3G is completely useless. Too little bandwidth, too much data.

3G/H does me fine. I'm not even sure I'd need 4G (with caps) tbh.

I wouldn't say no to 4G, but I agree. I only tend to do high bandwidth stuff when I'm in places with Wifi anyway... after all, who wants to be looking at their phone when they're out and about having fun?

And you call yourself and Android fan.
    I gave in

Will have a play in a bit, it's stuck downloading all my google profile over a horrendously unreliable GPRS connection at the moment, and I have work in 10 minutes.

I've had to disable HSPDA because it consumes up too much battery but 3G + Opera Mini does serve me pretty well. I had to put up with 2G when I was on holiday and that so painful!

    It is getting Gingerbread, yes.
But it won't be getting the new SenseUI, not in full.

Quite. The sooner it gets canned, the better.

In other news - I'm very happy with CM7. It's excellent!

Recommendations for music player apps? Winamp's become pretty bloated since it came out of beta and has some really irritating features - particularly that you can only access the shuffle and repeat buttons through the widget and not the main app.

[EDIT] Ok... but it's still become very bloated.
