yeah. I have a funny feeling it is something to do with a patent

It's exactly what happened with the Droid. Droid in the US doesn't have multi-touch, but the Droid in Europe does. Something to do with patents.

What I'd like to see is multi-touch available in all apps, like in the iPhone.

Nexus One is incredibly nice. Very smooth setup, installing apps takes seconds. So far, very happy!

single. but honestly thinking about, i hardly ever used multitouch on my iphone so it's not going to be a massive hindrance for me. as far as phones go, this one is pretty sexy.

i got quite lucky. i got the iphone 3G when it was first released but never upgraded to the 3GS model, so my contact ran out at the perfect time for the N1 release.

I like this thread. Makes it well easy to remember when my contract runs out! Almost exactly 18 months after the first post! :p:

seeing as this is your thread and i'm guessing you've had an android phone for quite a while, do you have any apps you'd recommend?

WaveSecure Beta - Lock, track, wipe and backup your phone by text or web.

The rest of the stuff I use these days is all aimed at guitarists tbh! :p: Though the National Rail app is great for commuters. Check the first post for a couple more.
