Found villainrom 10.3 is much quicker, seems it has a lot less features, as as it leaves me with 50MB with all my apps installed, whereas cronos leaves me with 3. and the keyboard is very unstable unfortunately.
    ???

I've got 100mb+ with Cronos (and Apps2SD). No issues with the keyboard either...

I have 116MB free (after clearing cache) on Chronos (this is substantially more than I had on MCR) and my only keyboard issue is the same one from 1.5 where you type but there is no input.

I hate the Chronos boot screen :/

I'd much prefer "Quietly Brilliant" or even the 1.5 "htc" screen..
Nexus bootscreen though.. That's the sexiest.

    No worries.

And I love it! looks awesome, plus it is pseudo-interactive, in that you can see when your phone is actually loading or just sitting there.

Well, yeah. When the CPU is loading the OS, the bar moves across slower. When it's idle, it takes exactly 1 second for the bar to move across.

    Oh ok.

Apparently the boot screen adds ~30 seconds to boot time :/

Yeah, they did but it is the second part that brings 2.1. There was a rumour that India was getting 2.1 on saturday and I was sort of hoping that would mean that we would be getting 2.1 today but with wednesday looming I don't think we are going to get 2.1 in june
