Never drunk alcohol. What does it feel like to be drunk?

anon or delete.

I have never drunk alcohol in my life (I lie, I have drunk a small amount - nothing more than a few sips in my whole entire life). I feel quite ashamed. Before I start properly drinking, I'd like to know what its like to go out drinking, getting drunk and getting hammered/wasted? Is the first experience always the best or does it get better each and every time you do it?

Any other advice you can give (for example if drinking is necessary to lighten up in social situation and what drink is best) is very much appreciated. Thank you for your time

Getting wasted is another thing which people who arent happy with their life do. Drinking in moderation to the point of feeling ecstatic feels like Jack sparrow.

When you're drunk you feel less co-ordinated than usual (almost dizzy), you're usually louder, you can't think coherently and you lose your social inhibitions (you're more likely to get up and dance or say things you wish you hadn't). Being tipsy is the same, but to a much lesser degree.

Have a few drinks and find out. Just take it easy to start with

You stop caring about your appearance, you become clumsy, your inhibitions go out of the window. You have a unbelievable pain threshold and you say the most ridiculously embarrassing things. You stagger round, fall over, make a excrutiating douchebag of yourself and wake up praying for sweet death. With a bruise or three.

Despite this, the temptation to do it repeatedly throughout your life is overpowering. Lord only knows why.

No and no. Have you ever been drunk? :eyebrow:
Drinking feels good. Until the next morning.

The feeling I get in my face after about 3 pints is possibly the best thing I've ever experienced (other than sex). Just feels warm and totally happy.

I've never been 'hammered' but I have been drunk. I think it's awful to be honest. I can't feel my hands or feet properly and my vision is incredibly blurry! I also can't think properly. I try to limit myself to 3-4 drinks at the most if I'm out, simply because I hate being 'drunk'.

Well... when I'm drunk the room normally spins a bit... and then I tell the room off for spinning... without realising that the room can't hear me... because...it's a room :p:

So bascially you feel a bit disorientated and lack coordination :hehe:

You feel absolutely wonderful, you're not quite sure where your keys/id/phone are, you feel it's perfectly acceptable to start talking to randoms, you wee in weird places, you love everyone and anyone, you tell people loudly how much you love them, you have a lot of conversations about nothing at all, you have some form of food, go home, not quite manage to get yourself undressed, wake up in the morning feeling very tired and a little bit embarrassed at how loud and annoying you were and vow never to drink again before planning another night out.

You'll either be very happy or very angry!

You're just much more confident. The internal voice you have goes completely and instead you just verbalise every thought that comes to your head. You talk to people you've never seen before about very personal things haha. You feel relaxed and happy, very happy. Since you've never been drunk i'd advise to start slow, have a few glasses of wine/few pints and stop at that. You WILL feel yourself getting drunk, you will enjoy it, you will also sometimes regret it biiiig time but you WILL most definitely still be out again the following week getting drunk once more. Enjoy! :p:
