Number of years supporting students on TSR: This would be my 4th year and my 3rd as a support team member.

Number of years supporting students on TSR: 3

Why do you think students use TSR during their results day? Ahh, for so many things. Genuinely students will need advice and that is primarily why we are here. But outside that, TSR is a place for celebration for those that have achieved well and a place to be consoled should the day not have turned out as expected. Many students have put a huge amount of time over their A-levels into TSR - it all culminates with this!

What are you most looking forward to?The busyness of the forum. It's the only day of the year the forum will be this busy. I enjoy embracing the experience!

Where will you be on the day? Being pampered by the Community Team in Brighton! :awesome:

Where you can find me on the day? A-levels, University of Warwick and Applications and UCAS forums.

My role on the day: Giving the tailored advice that everybody needs and deserves

Number of years supporting students on TSR: This is my third year.

Why do you think students use TSR during their results day? Having been a student receiving my results not too long ago, I think that one of the main reasons is to feel part of a community where people can relate with one another. The advice and support given on here really is amazing.

What are you most looking forward to?Helping people on here in regards to their results. It's always very satisfying giving advice on here and knowing that it may well help make a positive difference to someone. Not only that, but the fast moving pace of the forum on the day is VERY exciting!

Where will you be on the day?Unlike most advisors on here, I won't be helping out from Brighton. In fact, I won't even be in the UK! I'll be helping out from the Middle East!

Where you can find me on the day? I'll mainly be in the A-Level forum but I may pop in to the Medicine forum too from time to time.

My role on the day: To congratulate the many students who'll be pleased with their results as well as to provide my support to those that may need it. I also plan to pester Nirgilis and Slowbro93 into giving me minute-by-minute updates of what's happening in Brighton.

Number of years supporting students on TSR: Five with two as a mod in H&R. This will be my first results day officially advising with TSR, but not my first results day.

Why do you think students use TSR during their results day? So many reasons. The support of other students, talking to people in the same situations and making friends before they get to university. Of course, there's also the advice given by everyone of TSR and the official support from the A&C advisors. It's a little bit more reassuring to get advice from the people trained to handle all eventualities

What are you most looking forward to?The excitement and adrenaline on the day. I'm hearing wonderful things about the day from the lovely Universities Team!

Where will you be on the day?TSR Towers

Where you can find me on the day? Here, there and everywhere. Mostly helping with A level results, supporting undergrad teachers, BTEC students, and the Nottingham, Keele and Staffordshire Uni forums, but also floating around with mental health advice for anyone needing a bit of additional support.

My role on the day: Congratulating and supporting by throwing out advice and guidance to everyone possible. Making sure everyone knows that, whatever happens, it isn't the end of the world!

My role on the day: Congratulating, commiserating and giving advice to those in need of it.

Number of years supporting students on TSR: Five with one year currently as a mod.

Why do you think students use TSR during their results day? I'd be here forever trying to give a full answer but one of the main reasons that stand out for me is that students enter an 'unknown' phase where everything is new to them, e.g. checking UCAS track (dare I say, is a daunting prospect!) and therefore it can be very reassuring to know that they can get plenty of advice from others that have already been through the UCAS cycle. Getting good advice is key! Also, TSR is unique as students can chat to other fellow students in the same position and that in itself can be very reassuring when approaching results day! There is no better feeling than knowing you're all in the same boat

What are you most looking forward to?Being a big help!

Where will you be on the day?TSR HQ in Brighton with some of the other Study help and Universities mods (+ CT and TSR staff)

Where you can find me on the day? A-levels, University of Reading, UCAS and applications.

My role on the day: To help as many people as I can and give out sound advice based on previous experience of going through UCAS on results day myself; congratulating others!

What are you most looking forward to? The buzz of the big day and working in a team.

Where will you be on the day? Behind my Macbook, in TSR HQ with fellow advisors.

Where you can find me on the day? On TSR.

Slowlorisincognito
UCAS and Unis support team member

Applications & Clearing advisor

Number of years supporting students on TSR: I've been a member for 4 years, and a mod for six months.

Why do you think students use TSR during their results day? For all sorts of reasons, but I think it is partly due to not fully understanding the options available to them or wanting support/advice from those who have been or are in the same circumstances. Often, students don't have other support available, or are getting conflicting advice from parents/teachers/friends.

What are you most looking forward to?Seeing everyone again and meeting everyone I haven't met yet on the mod team, and of course helping posters.

Where will you be on the day?In Brighton XD

Where you can find me on the day? I'll probably be in applications and UCAS the most, but I will also try to venture into uni life, and its subforums.

Your role on the day Helping members who need advice and supporting those who haven't had the outcome that they wanted.
