Veterinary School Typical Offer A2 Chemistry A2 Biology Other Not acceptable?
Bristol AAA/AAB (contextual offer) A A Graduates should offer a minimum of BBB at A-level including Chemistry and Biology plus 2:1 or above. General Studies and Critical Thinking.
Cambridge A*A*A A - Applicants must have AS or A Level passes in Chemistry and two of Biology/Human Biology, Physics, Mathematics. We do not count Psychology. Psychology
Edinburgh AAA A A A in one other approved subject. Grades required at one sitting and first attempt. If Physics and Maths has not been studied at A level a good pass at GCSE is required. Glasgow A*AA A A A third subject which is preferably a science subject. Art, Drama, General Studies, Home Economics, Music or PE are not acceptable as a third subject.
Liverpool AAA A (B if only offered at AS) A If Chemistry is not offered at A2-level, it must be offered at AS-level (grade B), but applicants must offer another academic science-related subject at A-level (e.g. Physics, Mathematics, Geography, Geology, Psychology). Applicants may offer only one of General Studies, Critical Thinking, Citizenship Studies among their three A levels.
Nottingham AAB A A B in a third subject General studies, Critical thinking
Royal Veterinary College AAA-AAB A A Third subject at preferably grade A, but no lower than B. The third A2 subject should not overlap with Biology or Chemistry, and cannot be General Studies.
