Aston University is a great central university with a multicultural student body. It is a small university which comes with disadvantages but provides a friendly atmosphere where many students know each other from across all year groups and courses. The teaching is overall very well delivered, as with all institutions some are better than others but all members of staff are prepared to help and support you in any way possible. Life outside of the course is very enjoyable, there is always something to do whether it be on or off campus and the students union cooperate with clubs and societies to make sure that everyone can get involved in something.

Student Life in Birmingham
Over the last 20 years they have consistently been ranked as a top university for graduate employability (80 in the World and 12th in the UK according QS Graduate Employability Rankings). Their research has a direct impact to society and 78% of it is rated world leading internationally excellent (REF 2014).

The Aston University campus is located on a green 60 acre, self contained site in the centre of Birmingham, within 5-10 minutes walk of the main shopping, business and entertainment areas of the city. Parking is not normally available on campus for visitors but is available in pay car parks close by.

The course gives students an introduction to in-depth, rigorous mathematics at the undergraduate level to prepare students for higher study or for a career in a cross-disciplinary area.

This programme will encompass a wide range of design opportunities using a mix of technological applications and innovation with function and style. Emphasis on practical applications through case studies, exhibitions and ‘live’ projects.
