A wide selection of courses are on offer at Aston University, both undergraduate and postgraduate. For entry to undergraduate courses you’ll typically need between BBB and AAA at A Level, or a triple distinction in BTEC qualifications.
For undergraduate courses the fees are £9,000 per year for UK and EU students. For international students it costs £13,000 for business, languages and social sciences courses and between £14,000 and £16,000 for engineering and health sciences programmes.
Aston University has seen many changes over the years and has recently been upgraded, with the library refurbished in 2010 and the sports centre upgraded in 2013. New residences were added to the campus in 2013 and the Business School saw a £22 million upgrade back in 2006.
Aston University has perhaps the most modern and up to date accommodation options of any university out there, with every room upgraded to an ensuite in 2013. No more queues for the bathroom! Bills and internet are included in the price of rent, and the accommodation on offer is ideal if you want to get to know your fellow classmates and immerse yourself in the full university experience.
The university hosts plenty of open days and campus visits so you can make your mind up over whether Aston is the right place for you.
On an open day you can tour the campus, meet with staff and students, and find out more about your course of interest. You can also talk with admin staff about matters such as finances and accommodation.
