Student Life in Birmingham
Our campus is ideally located in the heart of Birmingham, a city full of energy, enthusiasm and excitement. It’s the youngest major city in Europe and a great place to live, work and study.
With over 200 shops across the Bullring and Grand Central, Birmingham is a shopper’s paradise. It’s also a leading UK city of music with a vibrant nightlife and many bars, clubs and pubs. From the international street food of the Digbeth Dining Club to the Michelin-starred restaurants of the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham lets you eat your way around the world, taking in the Chinese quarter and the Balti Triangle.
Travel Information
The Aston University campus is located on a green, 60-acre, self-contained site in the centre of Birmingham, within 10-minute walk of the main shopping, business and entertainment areas of the city.
If you’re planning on travelling by train, timetable information is available from National Rail. The nearest stations are 10-15 minutes away from campus: Birmingham New Street, Snow Hill, Moor Street.
We have two car parks for visitors on campus:
Car park 5: Holt Street, B7 4BH - £5.50 per visit (6am to 10pm)
Car park 6: Coleshill Street, B7 4EJ (evenings and weekends only)
