Open Days

Student Life in High Wycombe

Studying is a major part of university life. But it’s not the only part, by any stretch.

At Bucks, you can look forward to some great socialising, a diverse mix of events and societies, and top-notch facilities as well. And our Students’ Union is one of the most popular in the country, so there’s always loads going on there to keep you occupied when you’re not in the library or lecture hall.

The High Wycombe Campus has everything you need including bars, cafes and live music venues. The Students' Union offer the 'Big Deal', which gives you free access to entertainment and events, free sports, and free access to societies, so you’ll never have to make any tough choices between going to an event and buying that crucial textbook. If you fancy a trip off campus, the town has restaurants and bars, shops, a theatre and a bowling alley. And of course, there’s the added bonus that London’s really close by, so you can get in to the capital, and experience big city life, whenever you want.
