With views spanning across the lakes and beautifully landscaped grounds on campus, you will discover a fascinating place to live, learn, achieve and belong.
Excellent - and well worth moving away from home for. Although it is a smaller university, it has given me the true 'uni' experience with Southport and Liverpool not too far away. Beautiful views and walks nearby. Good student support.

Attending an open day provides an opportunity for you, and your family, to see our beautiful campus.
Student guides will take you on a tour of the halls of residence and faculty buildings, highlighting the wide range of impressive facilities and resources we offer.

From Ormskirk train station, there is a regular service running to and from both Liverpool and Preston. The free bus service EL1 runs at 20 minute intervals between Ormskirk bus station and Edge Hill from 7:25 to 21:25 Monday to Friday and until 17:50 on Saturdays. Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Manchester Airport are your closest and most convenient places for air travel.
Hillstart is a dance society that offers a variety of classes for students of any ability! Their range of free classes allows students to gain extra training and most importantly have fun!
This student-led society aims to create a supportive network community, not only for current students but for any prospective or future students, midwives and any other health professionals who wish to join.
This society works closely with the national charity The Guide Dogs Association and holds fundraisers to raise money for the charity. The society also run awareness events for people interested in finding out how these amazing dogs are trained and the impact they have on their handlers.
Edge Hill's LGBTQ+ Society aims to provide a welcoming and safe space for all LGBTQ+ students, organise related events and represent the LGBTQ+ population within the university.
