We have risen 39 places in the national league tables according to the 2019 National Student Survey, placing us in the top third tier. The University's overall satisfaction score came ahead of the national average, now resting at 85 per cent. Our quality of teaching has been proven when we came joint 1st in the UK for good student relationships with teaching staff in the Times Higher Education Student Experience survey 2018.
Chichester is a modern university surrounded by enriched history. We are currently celebrating our 180 year anniversary of higher education. We were voted the 4th best university for courses and lecturers out of 131 institutions at the Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2019.
In 2018, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex officially opened our brand new Engineering and Digital Technology Park on our Bognor Regis Campus.

This gives you the chance to get more information on your chosen course, meet our lecturers one-to-one and get real life student experience from our wonderful Student Ambassadors.

Student Life in Chichester

There are so many things to do in Chichester, Bognor Regis and the surrounding area, whether it’s seeing live bands, going to the races, sitting back to enjoy the latest blockbuster or playing and watching sport. Everything you need is directly accessible, thanks to the campuses being close to the centre of town and the great transport links in the area.
You can eat and dance the night away, as well as soaking up some culture at art galleries, museums and the Chichester Festival Theatre. Want some adventure? Get down to the beach for jet skiing, windsurfing and paddle boarding!

Travel Information
Our Bishop Otter Campus in the heart of Chichester and lives next door to the beautiful West Wittering sandy beach along the South Coast. Our location makes Chichester officially the sunniest place in the UK!
Both campuses have great transport links to Gatwick airport, Southampton ferry terminals and a 90 minute train to London Victoria.
The University has an inter-campus bus service, free for University of Chichester students, between the Chichester and Bognor Regis campuses. Both campuses are within walking distance of their respective town centres and nearest train stations.
