Student Life in Hertfordshire
Hertfordshire is located in the South East of England, 20 minutes from London by train. The county is a blend of quaint villages and bustling modern towns. The university itself has undergone a great deal of development and growth in the past 10 years. Nightlife and entertainment thrives in Hertfordshire and sports culture is a big part of the leisure activities available. The College Lane accommodation recently won the Best Student Housing Award at CUBO 2017.
Travel options to and from the university are abundant. London is a 20 min train ride away and Hatfield station is frequented by Great Western rail services. There are bus and coach exchanges on both campuses which are stops on many main travel routes. There is a free shuttle bus which runs between campus regularly throughout the day and night.

This course has been reviewed as the top 20 for animation in the UK. The 3D Digital Animation and Modelling degree equips you with the high level of skills needed to succeed in today's 3D animation industry.Emphasis is on creativity, character design, story, cinematography, SFX and compositing.
If you are interested in a career in international business and you love to travel, this four-year degree is ideal. You will spend at least one year in Europe, North America, Latin America, the Asia Pacific region or Australia, with the unique opportunity of spending two years abroad if you wish.
This Aerospace Engineering course specialises in aircraft design, especially aircraft structures, materials and aerodynamics. You will learn CATIA, a computer-aided design package, as well as finite element analysis and computational fluid dynamics. You will also join other aerospace students to design a complete aircraft.
The main emphasis of the course is on applied economics and in particular the application of economic analysis to real world problems and developments. The course emphasises how economics can play a role in analysing and modeling situations in the business environment, developing countries and in the formation of public policy.
Develop relevant practical skills to prepare you for a wide range of careers. Our law modules are taught through a participative and interactive environment. Whether you are interested in becoming a legal practitioner or simply interested in the law in a more general context, you will develop a core set of skills that will develop your employability and provide valuable insights.
