It’s a great place to express your individuality and experience new things.Close proximity to major cities and the Peak District National Park, as well as a low cost of living also makes the University of Huddersfield an exciting and inexpensive place to continue your education.
Huddersfield’s proximity to the M62, M1, rail and airport links mean you can enjoy an independent university life but getting home again is relatively quick and easy.

Fashion and Design Society is an united group which offers all students interested in the big fashion world weekly meeting, trips, creative workshops, group shopping days followed by nights out and much more.
The HUD ThinkTank is a society that holds discussions and debates, ranging from more laid back topics right across to political issues and relevant current affairs many overlook in society today.
At RAG, we are devoted to fundraising for our principle charities listed below through fun and exciting activities such as RAG Raids, Bake sales and tea parties, or we have more extreme events planned such as skydives, abseils or a 3 peaks challenge!
Students for Sustainability exists to engage students and the wider community in sustainability issues. We air to increase understanding of what individuals, businesses and community members can do in their day to day lives.
