How to apply to university in Denmark

In Denmark there is no one central university applications system like there is in the UK, instead, you will need to apply to each university directly.

Most Danish universities will have different entrance requirements, which may include certain grades, having studied certain subjects in the past or passing language proficiency exams. Generally, if you meet this criteria you should be offered a placee, however, some courses are oversubscribed and so if there are too many applicants, the students wilth the highest grades will be selected.

Most courses have application deadlines in mid-March for undergraduate courses starting in August/September, however, some universities have additional intakes in January or February for which you can apply up until the start of September.

You can normally start to apply from up to 2 months before the deadlines.
