The Green Templeton College Graduate Common Room (GCR) is the student body of Green Templeton College. Members of the GCR coordinate student activities throughout the college, handle student welfare, and liaise with official college committees on topics including academics and finances.
The GCR Committee is elected by the student body for three major purposes: 1. To represent the student body in college committee meetings. 2. To act as a resource to the student body of Green Templeton committed to safeguarding the academic, financial and emotional wellbeing of all College students. 3. To create a vibrant collegiate atmosphere by providing social, cultural and sporting opportunities for all College students.
Each year, committee members are elected democratically through a voting system, which takes place during Michaelmas Term. The committee meets once every two weeks during term time to organise college events and discuss important student matters.
