"The units offered at Bournemouth University give students a wide-ranging and varied approach to the study of politics. The skills I learned on my course gave me the essential tools I needed, not only to be able to campaign effectively, but helped me to win my County Council election, which has opened a further career in politics." Byron Quayle, Politics final year student and County Councillor.
On this course you'll develop a clear understanding of UK and international politics, gaining the critical and practical skills you need to engage in modern politics. Combining insights from psychology, history, international relations and philosophy, you'll learn to evaluate politicians, political systems and organisations. This course also examines the opportunities and challenges that come with doing politics in a hyper-mediated environment.

Bournemouth is an amazing student city, with new club nights on all the time and a great atmosphere. The beach is lovely and the centre of student life in the Summer. Everybody is friendly, with a great diverse student body. There’s loads of places in town - try the Buffalo, a short bus ride away from the centre but with amazing drinks and staff. The tutors are great, providing interesting and dynamic lectures and offering a load of support and guidance.

So far it's good. I am only in my 3rd week so I need a bit more time to develop an opinion.
