    Overall:
It was fine. The academics were the best part, and the archaeology department is excellent, all the staff are really friendly and they all know you by name cause the course is so small. The uni itself is not the best but definitely not the worst I've seen, and SUBU is pretty good. Accommodation is quite bad, but the quality of the housing is fine, there's just not enough of it. Student houses are usually awful, but there are some good ones around. My overall uni experience has been pretty fine with Bournemouth.
    University:
It's pretty average. There's a wide variety of clubs and societies which aren't bad, the student union is fine, they have a pub and club in town and a main building on the big campus. The welfare is not great as the waiting list is about six months long for mental health help. The shopping in town is really good, and there's a larger shopping mall a bus ride away.
    Course:
The timetable was pretty balanced with lectures/lab sessions on average three days a week, lectures last for about an hour to two hours with lab sessions lasting for three or four hours. The course structure is overall quite good, there's a variety of practical and desk based units available each year, although choice of units is quite limited. Module content is the strongest aspect of the course, each module is carefully considered and laid out! Teaching is pretty much excellent, and so is feedback. As with most courses at all unis there are some lecturers that are better than others but overall the lectures are really really good!
    Location:
The Talbot campus is out of town so you have to ride the bus in, and Winton is not a nice area with many burglaries and a few more serious crimes. A friend and I were almost run over by a car driven by a drug dealer, which mounted the pavement we were walking on. Bournemouth itself is pretty bad, with a lot of homeless people and drugs being prevalent.
    Accommodation:
There's not enough uni accommodation for everyone and the student houses are very poor.
    Settling in:
I went to boarding school so the homesickness most freshers experience never actually got to me at all, I settled in quickly with regard to academics as well. The department is very friendly and my programme leader was usually always available for a coffee and chat!

    Overall:
Very inspiring place with a good atmosphere. If you're an aspiring animator, this university should absolutely be one of your choices
    University:
Very high quality and modern, some issues with possible overpricing but student union-run services are usually decent
    Course:
Best animation course in the UK
    Location:
Bournemouth is a lovely town, and commuting to campus is easy thanks to the university buses
    Accommodation:
Some halls are nice but all of them are ridiculously overpriced, including the 'value' rooms

    Overall:
It's very early on, but the university has been really good in helping international students settle in.
    University:
    They have everything.
    Course:
Because I like the quality of teaching I have received so far.
    Location:
It's a good location but quite far from the town centre. The nature around campus is beautiful.
    Accommodation:
Because the location is excellent and the quality of the building and security is very good.
    Settling in:

    Overall:
Top Class Media school, industry-standard facilities, wonderful and friendly people, beautiful town, no shortage of things to do
    University:
There are lots of activities in the evenings and throughout the day to keep me busy, such as social Badminton on Monday evenings or Wednesday afternoons or societies such as Video Games/Board Games in the evenings or even the Airsoft society during the weekend.
    Course:
My course has a balance of art and science & mathematics, which will make me a very balanced technical director/VFX artist/animator in the future.
    Location:
The town itself is absolutely beautiful with a balanced mix for those who prefer quiet or those who like to party on nights out. The facilities of the campus itself is stunning and is inline with industry standards.
    Accommodation:
Dorchester has excellent facilities and is the first stop of the university bus - It also has a very good room with a double bed and is right next to the train station - but the noise from the train station can be rather annoying.
    Settling in:
Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and I have found some wonderful, likeminded people who have quickly become close friends of mine

    Overall:
So far it's good. I am only in my 3rd week so I need a bit more time to develop an opinion.
    University:
Because I like it so far but I am not yet completely involved in it to say it's perfect.
    Course:
Despite the fact that the module content is very intreresting, sometimes the lecturers are rushing it very badly. The enunciation of some of them is hard to understand which make the lectures kind of pointless. I like my timetable, but it is quite inconsisted time-wise.
    Location:
It's exactly what I wanted. It's a campus, everything is together. Feels like a small town; feels like I'm part of a community. And it's only 10 mins away from my flat by bus.
    Accommodation:
I absolutely love the location of my accommodation! However, when I came there were some problems with the water and the heater which, I believe are unacceptable having in mind the price of the accommodation.
    Settling in:
I am settling down very well and quickly, although I thought it will take me quite a long time :)

Like I said. Outstanding. I'd recommend anyone to choose this uni. So far, it feels like the best decision I've ever done.
    University:
So far, "uni life" felt great!
    Course:
Overall best experience so far, education wise.
    Location:
The city is great, best beach in the country, and the neighbourhood is welcoming with shops around and places to relax and enjoy nature - pretty much all you need.
    Accommodation:
I don`t know much about the university accommodation - I live in a private renting.
    Settling in:
It is not like home yet, sometimes it felt better and sometimes not so much - but overall great experience, still the best decision.

    Overall:
I have been at university for just over two weeks and I am really enjoying myself. Bournemouth is a great place to live as it has a real student vibe. The university is modern, attractive and all my lecturers are friendly.
    University:
Campus life is great, all the facilities are brilliant. The library is a great place to study and they have expectional equipment and facilities for the course that I am studying
    Course:
The course seems great, however I have only just started university so I'm not entirely sure what to expect in the near future.
    Location:
Bournemouth is a great place to live. The seafront is stunning and there is so much going on for the students. My accommodation is right near the town centre, a variety of restaurants and I also have two bus stops opposite which gets me to uni with 10 minutes.
    Accommodation:
I really like my accomendation, I live right by a tesco and asda which is very convienent, also the student night club is just across the road. My bedroom is spacious, decor is great. My only problem is the kitchen is a little small and this is a problem when there are five people trying to prepare meals at the same time.
    Settling in:
Within the first night I felt at home and I get along with my room mates really well. I recently went home and I wanted to go back right away, despite being so nervous and dreading leaving home in the first place

    University:
Everyone is very friendly and I can find everything I need nearby.
    Course:
Work is challenging and many resources are available, the number of simultaneous units is slightly overwhelming though.
    Location:
Nice University, bit far to walk though.

    Overall:
I've been trying to make friends with the right people, as good company is important, social-wise. I also have to begin thinking seriously about how I will get through my studies
    University:
Still need to adjust with the independence given to us
    Course:
It's too early at this stage to say but so far it's been good
    Location:
For me, I live right near it
    Accommodation:
It's a nice place to stay but there are a few issues around
    Settling in:
I still feel that I need to adapt more into the university lifestyle, but so far, i've had no problems, actively or socially

    Overall:
Bournemouth is such a beautiful place and being so close to the beach is great for the more stressful times in a students life- but the overall vibe of the university isn't brilliant. A lot of people there are rude and uninviting which can make it really hard, especially if you move far away from home and family to be there. The staff create a friendly environment but that is where the friendliness ends at Bournemouth university.
    University:
There is a lot offered at Bournemouth, however 'uni life' down there was not very fitting for me. I chose Bournemouth to help me feel relaxed and for more of an 'adult vibe' on a night out- the students there act quite young and have immature attitudes which isn't what i was expecting from Bournemouth University and it's students.
    Course:
The staff are brilliant, really lovely and dedicated to the course- but the course is not what they made it out to be originally, so when i started it wasn't what i was expecting and i haven't enjoyed it.
    Location:
Being right by the sea front is amazing for me, the beach in Bournemouth is beautiful. If i'm having a really tough day, whether it be at university or with the housemates i was put with, a 5 minute walk out of the campus doors i am by the ocean and instantly relaxed.
    Accommodation:
In my accommodation i had no hot water and when i reported this i was given the response 'we will pass the message on' and i still have not heard anything. So over the past 3 weeks i have had no hot water. There has been a number of problems with the accommodation i was put into- because of this i will be leaving.
    Settling in:
Whilst the staff on the course tried their hardest to help me settle in it was extremely hard because of the unilet house i was in and the housemates i had to share with. I had no hot water and the housemates were very difficult to live with which made it very difficult to 'settle in'.

Because im stll unsure about my course
    Location:

    Accommodation:
Because its pretty small compared to others

    Because thats how i feel
