De Montfort University is brilliant for those wanting to express their creative skills through a degree. The university itself is just 10 minutes from the city centre and with shops almost on campus itself there is a choice of places to grab a bite to eat for those students nights where cooking isn't an option. As for nightlife the The city's pubs and clubs are close to the uni, most are on one street so walkingis no worry. If you're new to Leicester then you can check out some of its sights, including one of England's largest markets under one roof. You can get a student ticket for a football or rugby match, visit one of the city's old real ale pubs, or get some retail therapy in one of two shopping centres.
