When applying for internships at BP & Shell, they ask you what uni you went to: the options are Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, Heriot-Watt, or other. The engineering courses here are really respected. The union were super helpful and were really nice and calm when I needed help. They’re also really active throwing events on campus. You're only 20 minutes out of Edinburgh town, so get a bus pass, and remember that there's a free nightbus! The festival fringe is a great time to be in the city as your summer ends.
