Course Summary:
Economic history is concerned with understanding the process of change in the past. It is an interdisciplinary, evidence-based and research-driven approach to the study of history. Economic history uses concepts, theories and skills from a broad range of social sciences to study historical issues including: why nations experience economic growth or fall behind, the causes of population change and migration, why financial crises occur, the economic and social effects of warfare, the history of economic development throughout the world, the role of education and human capital in economic change, the effect of business organisation on economic performance, and change in social behaviour in the past.

    Rigorous courses ; great careers service ; great job prospects ; if you love Investment Banking or any Finance Career LSE is the Only place to be. Banks literally live outside campus during internship season. But Only come to LSE if you Love your degree are willing to put in 100%. otherwise you will graduate with a 3rd class ! it is tough but enjoyable. (At least for me) . P.s Exams are ....

    3/5 Just be aware this university is very fast paced, you are here for a name and you have to work to get the grades. It's a competitive environment.
