This course has been developed in direct response to business need for skilled graduate employees who can manage the information technology function. Over 60 leading organisations, including IBM, BT, Procter & Gamble, Cisco, Deloitte, Hewlett-Packard and Sainsbury's, have collaborated to produce a course which will develop your knowledge and skills in business and technology. Employers maintain an active involvement in the course, presenting regular 'guru' lectures and providing opportunities to practise key skills such as technical presentations, team exercises, interviews and 'mock' assessment centre days.
Year 1 introduces you to programming and information systems, plus key elements of business, accounting and practical management skills. In Year 2 and your final year, you will study subjects including programming, analysis and design, and database management, as well as studies in e-business, strategic management and business analysis. Professional working practices will be encouraged and supported through the involvement of the employers.

Oxford Brookes was amazing! The campus was beautiful, really modern and clean, and the facilities there were great. Our course had a good mix of practical applied work and theoretical stuff in lectures, and it really gave me a deep understanding that I could use after my degree. Speaking of, the Careers service was also top notch, and they had loads of stuff going on that helped me walk straight into graduate employment. The student support services were also really comprehensive, with lots of financial and accommodation advice which helped ease my mind a lot.
