By studying Mathematics with Management, you'll combine the numerical and analytical skills and rigour of a mathematics degree with strong business acumen.
You'll study pure, discrete, decision and modern applied mathematics, probability and statistics. Tailored business modules will help you to develop skills suited to a future career in a financial institution, technology company or multinational corporation, learning alongside other mathematicians and scientists.
Management modules have a particular emphasis on social justice, sustainability and good governance in the management of private, public and voluntary organisations. You'll cover topics such as financial accounting, entrepreneurship, business analytics, strategy and economics, providing you with an in-depth understanding of the corporate environment.

Most of your modules will be assessed by an examination worth at least 90 per cent of the year's study, with the remainder covered by coursework and tests. Some BSc students will also complete a final-year project.
Management modules are assessed using a combination of coursework (presentations, assignments, essay report writing, in-class tests, research and project work) and/or examinations in May or June.

This is a great uni. It is close to public transport, whilst also having an array of cheap take out, restaurants and fast food options for students. The freshers events are great to make friends and get involved. Don't miss any! The departments are very friendly by letting people change courses, providing links to careers website and going the extra effort to provide the best experience. It's very diverse in culture and backgrounds and reflects the London environment.

I think being in London has a big impact upon the life and the atmosphere of queen mary. it offers diversity and allows you to experience real life, but at the same time perhaps does not give back the university experience some students look for.
