This is a great uni. It is close to public transport, whilst also having an array of cheap take out, restaurants and fast food options for students. The freshers events are great to make friends and get involved. Don't miss any! The departments are very friendly by letting people change courses, providing links to careers website and going the extra effort to provide the best experience. It's very diverse in culture and backgrounds and reflects the London environment.

Qmul is an ideal university for a diverse range of students, from those who like to party and socialise (due to good location and on campus events); to those who are there to study and achieve their potential (with library facilities and, for the school of geography, at least, good teaching and interesting modules). Although the value of its accommodation could be improved, and there could be better security on campus, I highly recommend Queen Mary to students interested in going to a London University :)
