Ravensbourne was a different experience, for sure – incredibly professional, with a real focus on graduate employment. I’ve heard it described more as a training centre, rather than a traditional party uni (The nickname ‘Rave’ is a touch sarcastic…). The teaching also leans more toward self study and improvement, which is refreshing if not a little daunting! However, they are also incredibly devoted to students wellbeing, offering free meditation sessions and even bringing puppies around the library to calm stressed students down! It’s unconventional, but it worked!

I rate this university 4/5 I like my course it has taught me a lot and made me grow as a person. I like the facilities and the atmosphere as it really makes me feel at home, everyone is lovely and friendly. I wish the Student Union has more power to make more events for us, like other universities, but for caring about students they're wonderful. It is a shame that the thing that prevents this university being 5 stars, are the lecturers. They do not care about you, yes I know we shouldn't be spoon fed. But they are really useless and have no clue. I have learnt a lot, but mainly from work experience and also other student collaborations. I am happy I went to this University and if you're trying to get into the Art, Design or Media industry. This is the place to be!
