Forget Big Ben, Birmingham has Big Joe. The tallest free standing clock tower in the world even comes with its own myth; walk underneath it and your degree is doomed… Campus life is awesome, with everything in one place – most digs are only a 15-minute walk from lectures and nearby Selly Oak is buzzing with yummy cheap eats, pubs and supermarkets. The city is on your doorstep, rated by the Rough Guide asone of the top 10 international (!) cities to visit in 2015. With a diversemusic scene, culture, shopping and a vibrant nightlife, Brum has got it covered.

While I think improvements could be made to our welfare system, the university as a whole is a great place to be and study.
