Course Summary:
Our Law (Combined) degree is delivered by a team with academic, professional and practical experience. Wherever possible, staff interests and expertise are built into the modules that we deliver. We also endeavour to provide you with additional opportunities. These may range from, the further enhancement of core skills, organising charity fundraising events, and even contributing to the development of the Law School itself. French: By the end of this course, you will have had the opportunity to develop your language and communication skills to a very high level through the study of the history and culture of France and other French-speaking countries. Placements in France, Belgium, Canada or other parts of the francophone world will be normally undertaken.

Assessment Methods:
Law: Assessment is varied throughout our course. There are term time assessments including essays, group work, presentations and critical reflections. A significant number of modules will also have exams which will take place at the end of the teaching period. French: You will be assessed in all four language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking, as well as your ability to research and analyse. You will do this in a variety of formats: essays, role-plays, presentations, summaries, debates, portfolios, discussion papers, translations, projects, dissertation and exams.
