This four-year course is perfect if you want a degree in Architecture, but don't have the standard qualifications. We prepare you for your degree during your Foundation year, bringing you up to speed with academic skills and a firm grounding in architecture. Then you can go on to do the full undergraduate degree.

Studio work is assessed within a design portfolio and supporting studies in the form of a bound report. We provide students with feedback on their progress throughout the year during tutorials. Final assessment takes place at the end of each academic year. There are no closed book examinations.

When they say East, they mean pretty far east! The campus and accommodation are located right on the Thames in Beckton, and traveling into Central via the DLR offers a nice scenic route into London. The teaching was great, too – my tutors really cared, and were devoted to the local area which was great in my first year when I wasn’t too sure about living in London.
