Essex was amazing! The campus was seriously beautiful, had many a lovely afternoon sat by the lake on campus trying to revise. There’s a great community feel here, everyone is very friendly and there are amazing support services at the Union. Be sure to pick the right accommodation – if you’re ready to party every night, stay at the Towers, where no-one ever sleeps! If you’re a quieter type, the South Courts are a bit more relaxed although there’s still parties to be had. My teachers were also amazing, and I had a great time on my course.

Highly recommend, look into your course so you fully understand what modules you are offered etc, joining societies and clubs is the best way to experience uni, you'll meet people from all walks of life and despite no one on my sports team studying a similar course to me, we all went to the library together during exam time just to support one another
