**Why BA Human Geography?**
The University of Gloucestershire BA Human Geography programme focuses exclusively on the human dimension of the geography discipline, enabling you to specialise in the most pressing socio-geographic challenges of our time. Youâll study topics including population, migration, geopolitics, sustainability, health, ageing, development, conflict, global crime and inequalities. This breadth of content coupled with the development of an extensive range of qualitative, statistical and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) research skills will prepare you for a career in a vast range of employment sectors.
Youâll progress from field training in the dynamic city of Manchester to field research overseas, exploring development and social justice in South Africa, migration dynamics in Canada, sustainability in Venice or global governance at the UN in Geneva. In addition, you can choose to benefit from invaluable employment experiences though our internship and professional experience options, gaining a competitive edge of experience, networking with potential employers and gaining academic credit towards your degree, all at the same time.

The uni has fantastic facilities with lovely staff. However communication is consistently poor across the board. Timetabling can be poor too. Lectures are not always engaging or well structured either but this does seem to be improving.
