The programme offers a practice-led and competency-based curriculum in which the placement pattern will facilitate and enhance a studentâs learning, complementing and consolidating the theoretical components of the programme. Clinical placements provide a mental health nurse identity throughout the programme and offer students the opportunity to achieve and demonstrate the programme learning outcomes, skills and competencies necessary to enter the Professional Register.
Successful completion of this programme will lead to eligibility to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, in order to begin your career in nursing. Nurses in both hospital and community settings have opportunities to become managers, educators and clinical specialists. The courses within our Masterâs degree will offer both theoretical and practice learning in a variety of settings. We have excellent links with the NHS and other care providers and will arrange your placements in both hospitals and community settings.

Greenwich is seriously the nicest part of London! It’s a lovely little suburb, with great little shops, pubs with atmosphere and character, and the park, which is beautiful no matter what time of year. The one thing it isn’t is cheap, but the eagle eyed among you will be able to find the right deals and cheaper nights out in the city – New Cross is a short bus ride away and has plenty of nice, cheap(er) pubs. The course itself was great, with the lovely accommodation being the crowning touch of my experience.

My experience so far in the uni is so far but for others it could be different and my the weeks I’ve got classes is just Tuesdays and Thursdays and their both long hours but still it’s good like I don’t feel like I’m falling behind on stuff
It was very tricky to begin with but I soon settled in and everyone makes everyone else feel welcome and the staff and support team are very helpful and there are lots of people to talk to if you’re struggling settling in
