This course is for anyone wanting to begin a career in coaching people across all ages and abilities as well as those interested in teaching physical education.

- Gain an industry advantage by having free exposure to the latest wearable technology that uses GPS and micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) in the sports performance world through our partnership with Catapult Sports.*
Our links with local authority sports development units (and other organisations) open up opportunities for work experience, coaching education courses, workshops and events. Youâll learn from tutors who've collaborated with the likes of FIFA, the International Olympic Committee and the World Anti-Doping Agency. You'll work in facilities such as our Sports Rehabilitation Suite, Health and Human Performance Laboratory, Environmental Chamber, Performance Analysis Suite, and Exercise Physiology Laboratories. These are on top of our excellent indoor and outdoor sports facilities, which are currently undergoing a Â£16 million transformation.

Forget about the stereotype, Hull is a hidden gem which gets great student satisfaction. The city is really quirky so look out for white telephone boxes, chip spice and traditional pubs with unusual names. The university campus is very green with a warm atmosphere. The area around the uni is lovely, with lots of independent restaurants, shops and small bars which have a great selection of cheap craft beers. Living costs are really low, with student housing available close to campus. There’s a choice of different clubs for all music tastes. Getting in to town is easy and quick with frequent buses and cheap taxis.
