Forget about the stereotype, Hull is a hidden gem which gets great student satisfaction. The city is really quirky so look out for white telephone boxes, chip spice and traditional pubs with unusual names. The university campus is very green with a warm atmosphere. The area around the uni is lovely, with lots of independent restaurants, shops and small bars which have a great selection of cheap craft beers. Living costs are really low, with student housing available close to campus. There’s a choice of different clubs for all music tastes. Getting in to town is easy and quick with frequent buses and cheap taxis.
