With a Joint Honours degree, you study two subjects and depending on how much time you want to spend on each subject, your degree may emphasise one subject more than the other, which is a major and minor programme. Alternatively, you can study your subjects equally, resulting in a joint degree.
Joint honours degrees are taught in the same way as single honours degrees, with 120 credits taught per year, over three years.

It's a young university, so the campuses are smaller than you'd expect. It’s got a great homely vibe, The nightlife is amazing though, Embargo's the place to go during the week and Roadmender is a great venue for indie music. The teaching is great though, very varied and creative, the academics are really dedicated to making you think about stuff differently. There are really strong support services too. And the Northampton Carnival is great to shake off the exam stress in June.

My experience here was better than I expected. Apart from the recent campus change in 2018, the teaching was honestly something I was told was terrible. Heck I was told to avoid coming here!
