St Andrews is sometimes referred to as ‘The Bubble’ – it’s a really small, community focussed uni town, a little cut off from the world, and you’ll become close with everyone you meet. The Uni’s reputation also means that people from all over the world come here, so you may have some interesting summer holidays visiting people! The nightlife swings towards pub rather than club, although you can venture down to Dundee if you fancy the latter. Joining one of the fantastic societies will really make the best of your experience here.
Provisional for Year 1 for England at £9,250
Provisional for Year 1 for Northern Ireland at £9,250
Provisional for Year 1 for Wales at £9,250
Provisional for Year 1 for Channel Islands at £9,250
Provisional for Year 1 for EU at £1,820
Provisional for Year 1 for Scotland at £1,820
Provisional for Year 1 for International at £31,580
The nature of the uni means you can really explore your subject (which hopefully you enjoy if you’ve managed to get the grades to end up here) but without the academic overload which stops you playing sport or joining clubs. You’re not forced down any route, and it’s really easy to get involved and meet people if you give it a go!
