Mechanical, electrical, computing and control elements are key to all engineering systems. You will develop technical expertise, knowledge and understanding in all of these, and the ability to work on large-scale multidisciplinary projects. Five year Integrated Masters course with the opportunity to participate in the Formula Student competition to build a racing car, professional accreditation from the Institution of Engineering and Technology, and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. Scholarship programme with paid industrial work placements, including the IET Power Academy, and the option to gain international experience through studying abroad for up to one year.

Glasgow is a lovely city. The West End is a fantastic student neighbourhood with loads of great culture and shops – Tchai Ovna is an amazing find, a great place to sip interesting teas and try and get some work done. The Glasgow Film Theatre is also another regular stop in between lectures, with some amazing stuff on at the festival especially. Teachers are fantastic too!
