Okay so I have a bit of a problem. On the day i picked my A level subjects I was told that I couldn't study the combination of subjects that I initially wanted to because of the lessons actually being on at the same time. I wanted to do Eng lang, History and PE, however history and Eng lang were on at the same time. After several attempts at persuading the head of sixth form to let me do hist and eng, I was told there is no way i could do them both and that i had to pick something else. In the end I ended up getting left with Media Studies instead of history. I've been through AS level and have got grades B (Eng) B (PE) and a C (Media). Basically, the problem is that I have always wanted to become a primary school teacher, and need 300 points (BBB) at A level, and i really don't think i will get a B in media because i absolutely hate it... SO much, and wish I could've done history.

I have applied to uni and have interviews from 3 unis so far for Primary Education, however I was wondering whether it is worth spending a third year in sixth form to do history (AS+A2), in one year? I got a B at history GSCE and i think I would be more likely to get a B in it at A level rather than in media. Any help would be much appreciated.
