European Business School London (EBS London) is located in Regent's Park in central London, England. EBS London was established in 1979, and is a constituent school of Regent's College.
It is partnered with institutions all over the world. Students choose their partner universities through the language(s) that they are learning at EBSL.There are a significant number of high ranked universities, e.g. Aoyama Gakuin University (Tokyo, Japan), Witten/Herdecke University (Witten, Germany), Pace University (New York, USA), San Francisco State University (San Francisco, USA), Universidad de Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain) and many more.
The European Business School London offers a range of degree and postgraduate courses with a focus on international business and management, as well as a business foundation course to prepare for studies at degree level.
The main, "flagship" undergraduate course for which the school is well known is its "BA(Hons) International Business", involving compulsory training in one or two languages. Furthermore, the course offers the possibility to pursue a major in selected areas, including finance, marketing, human resources management, law etc. Languages offered are Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, German, French, Japanese, Italian, Russian, Portuguese and in the future Arabic. The BA(Hons) International Business includes two study semesters in selected partner institutions abroad, and requires 36 weeks of industry placements for completion.
The BA(Hons) Business and Management is not longer offered for new entrants. EBS London's postgraduate courses cover a range of specialist master degrees. A new MBA programme is being offered, furthermore the school provides tailor-made executive training to companies and institutions.
IT and computing
Despite being the UK's first private University and the largest independent business school, EBS London recruits its students mostly from abroad. A unique degree of diversity results among full-time students, with about 90 nationalities present on campus. These are complemented by international exchange students. Consequently, the school's outlook is very international and it is not uncommon for a student to speak four languages or more with fluency.
