• Kaplan Holborn College

Kaplan Holborn College was established in 1969 to prepare ambitious lawyers for their LLB exams, and since then has evolved to become one of the leading alternative higher education providers. Today we work with Anglia Ruskin University, the University of London, the University of the West of England and the University of Wales to offer a range of professionally focused degrees in accounting, business and law designed to prepare you for your future career.

Central London – Located on Borough High Street, a short walk from London Bridge, the College is an excellent base from which to enjoy all that London has to offer. Within a 10 minute walk, you can find London’s most renowned food market Borough Market, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and the tallest building in Western Europe, the Shard. Just across the bridge on the other side of the river, you will find the City - London’s financial district, and the area where many of our students aspire to be one day.

Flexible Learning – Thinking about how you are going to juggle studying and working? We are now offering 2 day timetables that condense your classes into 2 days per week, giving you 5 days to undertake independent study and engage in extra-curricular activities or part-time work. This will allow you to organise your time how you wish, and fit your other commitments around your studies. As part of the 2 day timetable structure, your lectures will be moved online, meaning you can watch them whenever and wherever you want, including during revision periods.

Quality tuition - Our tutors have worked for a range of organisations across the globe and therefore bring their varied experiences to the classroom. Their goal is to help you succeed by encouragement, class participation and discussions to develop subject understanding. With our 2 day timetables, your lectures will be moved online, meaning that your classes in college will be seminar-style classes capped at 30 students. These smaller classes allow you to benefit from interactive conversations with your tutor and classmates. And if you need extra support, our tutors are also happy to see you on a one-to-one basis.

Professional focus - Kaplan Holborn College ensures our degree programmes are focused on preparing you for your career. Depending on your chosen degree, you can benefit from exemptions from professional qualifications in accounting and law, which can also be studied with Kaplan Financial and Kaplan Law School, allowing you to move seamlessly from your degree to your professional qualification. In addition to this, you can also benefit from the range of scholarships and loyalty discounts on offer to Kaplan Holborn College students who want to progress from their undergraduate degree to further studies with Kaplan.

Careers and employability – Times have changed, you need more than just an attractive grade in today’s competitive graduate job market. Employers are looking for more than just your qualifications, and that’s why alongside our career-focused degrees, we have a dedicated team of careers professionals who are there to help you develop the skills you will need in your future career. In addition, our 2 day timetables are designed to allow you to find part-time or internships while studying, which will help give you the desired work experience and skills that will make you more attractive to employers once you graduate. You will also have the chance to stand out from the crowd by studying for the Employability Award, which will help you create a career development plan and arm you with communication skills that are very much sought after by employers.

Value for money – We offer high-quality tuition towards degrees awarded by well-known UK universities, for very competitive prices. Our undergraduate tuition fees, which start from £5,995 per year, will save you money without compromising on the quality of your teaching. We all know how expensive it is to travel around London, so Kaplan Holborn College is offering a £500 London Transport Bursary for students from low-income households as specified by Student Finance England, to help ease the financial burden of travelling into central London.

Accessible entry options - Kaplan Holborn College accepts applications from a variety of backgrounds. We acknowledge that not every student will have studied A Levels, and have therefore created entry requirements that reflect this. We accept applicants who have studied BTECs, diplomas, Access courses, HNDs and HNCs, as well as the traditional A Levels. See the College Leavers section on our website for more information.
