What were your experiences of the application process? The application process consisted of: (i) an online application form, (ii) a first round interview with a HR manager followed by numerical, verbal and logic tests, and (iii) an assessment centre consisting of two two-on-one interviews with senior managers.
What is it like working for the Macquarie Group? I didn't do well enough in the assessment centre to get an offer. But Macquarie Group seems like a very relaxed and collegiate company. Shame that I was applying right in the middle of the credit crunch.
How has it compared to your expectations? Very efficient.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time? Working at another bank
Finally, any advice you would give to potential applicants? Just be yourself.
