Hi,

I want to begin my career in teaching but have no prior experience in the same. When enquired in few universities I got to know that they would need me to undergo PGCE and if I want to be a teaching assistant I would have to do NVQ level 1,2 and 3. Also, when I gave my degrees for equivalency comparison in naric (my education is from INDIA) they said my bachelor degree is equivalent to British degree standard and that my all individual subjects are of a minimum GCSE level A-C with an exception of English language. I am not certain even after speaking with a big linked-list of people that whether I have to do an IELTS or GCSE English equivalent or a full time GCSE English ??

If anyone had been struck in a similar situation would please let me know the correct route to take as I am utterly confused running from here to there and still in the loop with a no way out.. Thanks in advance ..
