Comment: Southampton is spread across several campuses but most students will only experience one, two at most and they are all well connected via the university's transport system. For a city campus, Southampton's Highfield is beautiful and green. Most of the buildings are nice looking or at the very least, have an interesting story behind their appearance.

Are there any other facilities offered? Are specific facilities offered for religious activity - such as prayer rooms or chapels? Facilities for disabled students? If you have experience of these things, share them here.

Comment: The university runs its own bus system known as "Uni-Link" and you'll get a free bus pass for this with Halls of Residence. Even without free travel it is still cheap with an all day pass being £3. The buses are reliable, clean and safe and run for most of the day until late. They go into the town centre from Highfield every 10 minutes or so and also run up to halls. In addition there are several train stations in Southampton with good connections to London and the south.

Southampton also boasts an international airport with several good and budget airlines running frequently. The airport is a bus/train ride away and is well connected to the UK and Europe with other destinations available too.
