• Video: charitys popup shop opens in brighton

Ever fancied running your own shop? That's exactly the opportunity being offered to young people taking part in the new Retail Ready People project.

The initiative gives free training to groups of 16-25-year-olds, so they've got the skills and confidence they need to run a profit-turning pop-up shop.

The project's first shop opened last weekend in Brighton. The Student Room headed over to talk to the people behind it - and those taking part - to find out more.

WIN! You can win a screen-printed T-shirt of your choice from Make Away, delivered direct to your door. Want to enter? Just click here to tweet about the project.

You can find out more about the Brighton project at www.make-away.com or by following @Make_Away on Twitter.
